No. LiceAlert is completely anonymous. We never collect or share names, photos, or any identifiable information of individuals. Lice Alerts are general, location-based notifications only. Alerts are similar to reporting a traffic jam or road closure. No protected health information is ever collected or shared.

LiceAlert is a national lice notification system. Lice can be reported anywhere in the United States.
No, all alerts are posted and sent anonymously. There is no identifiable information.
Alerts come as lice is reported. The number of alerts you will get is unknown.
LiceAlert is community driven. When someone creates an alert, they must agree that they have direct knowledge of lice and that they are not using the alert system maliciously. We record the I.P. address of those submitting lice alerts. If it is proven that an alert was created maliciously and that lice was not contracted at the named facility, the alert will be removed. Anyone caught abusing the alert system will be banned. Just because you have not had an experience with lice at the reported facility does not mean lice was not contracted there. Lice often goes unreported.
